誠聘傳道負責幼兒、青少年牧養

金巴崙長老會愛丁堡香港基督教會，誠聘一位 2/3 職教牧同工，專責牧養幼兒、青少年和家長福音工作。此職位為 2/3 職（每週 24 小時)，主要於星期日工作。

工作範圍

• 崇拜講道

• 主日學統籌及帶領（安排幼兒、青少年主日學，與義務導師協作）

• 牧養工作（主要牧養幼兒、青少年和家長）

• 栽培工作（如：青少年查經小組、導師訓練等）

• 行政工作，以確保幼兒、青少年事工能順利進行

• 配合教會發展幼兒、青少年事工（如：福音營、聖誕報佳音等）

• 參與及推動教會活動（如：愛筵、祈禱會、旅行、退修營等）

• 出席教會常務會議及匯報工作

薪金：年薪 £16,320 (月薪 £1,360)

每週 24 小時，主要於星期日工作。

工作地點：星期日在教會，因暫未有會址，其餘工作地點自行安排，將來按需要修訂。

福利：教會將為錄取者供款 3% Nest Pension，並享有 28 日有薪假期（公眾假期包括在內）

合約為期：12 個月

Part-Time Youth & Children's Ministry Pastor (English)

Cumberland Presbyterian Church Hong Kong Christian Church in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated individual for a 2/3 Time Pastoral Worker position. This role will primarily focus on ministry and outreach to Children, Youth, and their Parents.

This is a 2/3 Time position (24 hours per week), with primary work expected on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Worship & Teaching: Preaching and leading worship services as required.

• Sunday School: Coordinating and leading Sunday School programs (for children and youth), and collaborating with volunteer teachers.

• Pastoral Care: Providing pastoral care, mainly to children, youth, and their parents.

• Discipleship: Leading and developing discipleship programs (e.g., youth Bible study groups, mentor training, etc.).

• Administration: Performing necessary administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of children’s and youth ministries.

• Ministry Development: Collaborating on and executing church-wide children’s and youth ministry initiatives (e.g., Gospel camps, Christmas caroling).

• Church Participation: Participating in and promoting various church activities (e.g., fellowship meals, prayer meetings, retreats, outings).

• Reporting: Attending regular church core team meetings and providing work reports.

Candidate Requirements & Attributes:

• God-Centred & Love-Based: Possesses a God-centered outlook with a foundation of love.

• Character: Genuine, humble, gentle, and responsible with strong spiritual character.

• Passion: Demonstrates a strong passion for children’s and youth ministry.

• Theologically Qualified: Completion of an accredited theological training course.

• Skills: Strong communication skills, team-player mentality, with leadership, organisational, and administrative abilities.

• Affiliation: Agreement with the church’s Confession of Faith and core values.

• Adherence: Willingness to follow the church's constitution, regulations, and disciplinary handbook.

• Right to Work: Must possess the Right to Work in the UK.

• Experience: Relevant prior pastoral or ministry experience.

• Technical: Proficiency in computer operations (including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Zoom).

• Driving: UK Driving License (Desirable, but not mandatory).

Salary and Employment Details:

• Salary: Annual Salary: £16,320 (Monthly: £1,360)

• Hours: 24 hours per week (2/3 time), primarily working on Sundays.

• Location: Sundays at the designated church location. Other working locations are self-managed, as the church currently does not have a permanent dedicated premise. Location details may be subject to review.

• Benefits: The Church will contribute 3% to a pension (Nest Pension). Entitlement to 28 days of paid annual leave (inclusive of public and bank holidays).

• Contract Term: 12 Months

• Probation Period: 3 Months

• Reporting To: The Pastor and Core Team Members of the Hong Kong Christian Church in Edinburgh.
